ABOUT EASTER
Easter traditions differ around the world. Easter is the most important Christian festival. Jesus Christ died on a cross on a Friday almost two thousand years ago. Christians believe that on the following Sunday, Christ rose from the dead and, in doing so, proved that He is the Son of God. The day Jesus died and was buried is known as Good Friday. The following Sunday is Easter. Easter is the most important religious feast in the Christian liturgical year.[11] Christians believe that Jesus was resurrected from the dead on the "third day"[12], and celebrate this resurrection on Easter Day, two days after Good Friday. The date of Easter varies between 22 March and 25 April in Western tradition, and between 4 April and 8 May in Eastern Christia.

On April 8 all Amenians celebrate the Easter. We make different things for Easter. We are very happy on that day. People see each other and they say <<Christ resurrected from the dead>> and other people answer <<Blessed is the resurrection of Christ>>. We play eggs' tournaments with our friends. We paint eggs in different colors. I like that holiday very much. Our English group is going to celebrate that holiday soon.
