MY FAMILY The roots of my family come from Erzrum. During the 1915 genocide and displacement there reached Syria crossing the desert of Der Er Zor. Where they grow up in arab family that had rescued them. They didn’t go to school, and lacked parents love. My grandfather’s family consisted of seven children plus the parents. My grandparents got married in Syria and gave birth to my elder uncle and aunt there. In 1956 western armenians spread all over the world were given a chance to return to eastern Armenia. My grandparents’ family returned on a ship. In Armenia my father and my two aunts were born. Now our family consist of seven people: grandfather, grandmother father, mother, sister, brother and me. We are a large family. My grandfather likes nature very much, he loves to work with the ground. He has devoted all his life to the nature, and he doesn’t imagine his life without it. My grandmother is a housewife. She likes to work in the kitchen, and we all love her tasty meals. She puts all her love in the meals that she cooks. My mother likes children. She always wanted to become a nurse or teacher, but her dream was not realized. My father is the tractor driver, he is like a my grandpa, he likes it works which are connected with the land and nature. My sister, brother and I went to school. We love our parents, and always we try to do so they pride of us. My sister is 16, she want to become psychologist. I am 18, I want to become painter. My brother is 11 he has not yet decided on his profession. My family is very traditional and I am very happy that I was born in family such as mine.
